7 February 2020

The Rural Press Club of Queensland kicked off this year’s lunch series yesterday at The Tattersall’s Club in Brisbane.

Members and guests had the opportunity to hear from Don Mackay, Chair of the Red Meat Advisory Council as he discussed Red Meat 2030, a plan to unify the industry and the 80,000 businesses towards a common goal – create profitable businesses, loyal consumers, and an industry Australia is proud of.

The Club’s next lunch will be hosted on Thursday 5 March. ABC Rural’s Arlie Felton-Taylor will facilitate a conversation with Sunwater Chair, Leith Boully, Director of the Urannah Water Scheme, John Cotter, and Managing Partner of Riparian Capital Partners, Nick Waters, to discuss the future of water, infrastructure, pricing and how water utilities and customer demands can best benefit Queensland.

Tickets for the lunch can be purchased here. As always, the SAS Group look forward to playing a key part in the organisation of this lunch and ensuring the event runs as smoothly as possible.
