Yesterday our client the Rural Press Club of Queensland (RPC) hosted another one of its online events on the topic: Accelerating beef sustainability in a post-pandemic world.

RPC President Stacey Wordsworth was joined by panellists Tess Herbert, Chair of the Australian Sustainability Framework, Darren Robertson, Chef, Restaurant Owner and Food Waste/Sustainability Expert, James Madden, Managing Director of Flinders & Co, Georgie Somerset, Queensland Beef Producer, President of AgForce and Board Director for ABC, and Carl Duncan, Group Manager, Resource Efficiency and Sustainability from Teys Australia.

About 428 guests had the fantastic opportunity to hear an in-depth discussion about the significant spike in beef sales during the early stages of COVID-19 due to panic buying and how the Australian beef industry will bounce back and move forward in the post-pandemic era.

Yesterday’s event was the third of the RPC’s new webinar series: RPC Online.
