Senior Consultant - Media and Communications
A former senior Australian metropolitan newspaper journalist and editor with experience across a number of key sectors, ranging from business to sport, Paddy has extensive experience providing strategic communication and government relations advice and support for organisations in Australia and overseas.
Before joining the SAS Group, Paddy ran her own consultancy communications business working with not-for-profits and the business sector before becoming the principal advisor, policy and corporate affairs, for Triple P International Pty Ltd, which distributes training and resources for one of the country’s most successful social services exports, the Triple P – Positive Parenting Program.
Paddy has also worked as the Communications Manager for the Parenting and Family Support Centre in the Health and Behavioural Sciences faculty at The University of Queensland.
Major stories covered across a wide-ranging newspaper career include the Federal Government-subsidised insulation scheme, implications of $1 a litre milk pricing, and threats and opportunities to major and small retailers from overseas and domestic online innovation.
